Day 1: Airport - Colombo

Travel Time – Approx. 45 mins / 35 kms

A warm welcome awaits you at the arrival lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake. Your personal driver will give you a brief introduction and commence the trip to Colombo . Arrive at the hotel. Check – In & Relax.

Day 2: Colombo - Sigiriya

Travel Time – Approx. 3 hrs' / 145 kms

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. En-route visit Dambulla Cave Temple.Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, it is situated in the central part of the country. It is the largest and the best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock is 160 m tall and there are more than 80 caves out of which only 5 caves consist of major attractions such as statues and painting related to Buddha and his life.Arrive at the hotel. Check – In. After noon relax by pool.

Day 3: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Polonnaruwa

After an early breakfast, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its frescoes and lion-shaped paws. In the afternoon, enjoy a private jeep safari in Minneriya National Park to witness the spectacular gathering of hundreds of elephants around Minneriya Tank during the dry season.
** Depending on the elephant migration patterns the safari will be done in Minneriy or Kaudualla or Eco Park
** Return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4: Sigiriya – Trincomalee

Travel Time – Approx. 01 hour / 42 kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Thereafter, leave for Trincomelee. Upon arrival to Trincomalee in the afternoon, proceed with a sailing tour on an overnight cruise on full board basis. Discover some of the most beautiful coastlines & best snorkeling experiences on the East coast. And enjoy the sights of mighty whales and playful dolphins in these crystalline waters. At around 04.00 pm sail in the magnificent Koddiyar Bay, taking in the dramatic coastline with the ancient Koneswaram temple perched high on the hill. Enjoy a refreshing sunset drink with dinner onboard. Guests can swim, snorkel and enjoy stand-up paddle-boarding. Night at Back Bay, under the foot of the Koneswaram temple.

Day 5: Trincomalee

Awake at sunrise for a hot breakfast with fresh fruits and Ceylon tea or coffee. Set sail into the deep sea to spot whales and dolphins, then enjoy a leisurely cruise around Trincomalee Bay. Lunch is served on board, with opportunities for swimming and paddle-boarding. After the sailing tour, check in at your beach hotel in Trincomalee for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Trincomalee

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Trincomalee, visiting Fort Frederick and Koneswaram Temple, both rich in history and offering scenic views. Fort Frederick, built by the Portuguese, and Koneswaram Temple on Swami Rock are notable landmarks, with the latter offering whale-watching opportunities. Explore the Gokanna Temple for panoramic city and coastline views. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or beach. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Trincomalee – Hatton

Travel Time – Approx. 7 hrs' / 260 kms | Flying Time – Approx. 30 mins

After breakfast, travel to Hill Country (Hatton), with a stop in Kandy to explore its cultural and spiritual landmarks, including the golden-roofed Dalada Maligawa, which houses the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Optional: Take a 30-minute charter flight from Trincomalee to Hatton for a more convenient travel experience. Upon arrival, check in to a Tea Trails bungalow in the Bogawantalawa region. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Hill Country (Hatton).

Day 8 & 9: Hatton (Hill Country)

Breakfast, lunch at the bungalow. Stay at leisure on all inclusive basis at the bungalow with the butler service. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to go on a few walking or biking tours in the tea gardens. Dinner & overnight stay at Hill Country (Hatton).

Day 10: Hatton (Hill Country) – Colombo

Travel Time – Approx. 4 hrs 15 Min /145 kms | Flying Time – Approx. 30 min

After breakfast, travel to Colombo. Opt for a charter or scheduled domestic flight from Hatton to Colombo for a more convenient journey. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour of Colombo, exploring its vibrant bazaar, colonial buildings, and modern areas. Experience the city's diverse culture and enjoy a special dinner aboard with views of Colombo Port City.

Day 11 - Colombo - Airport

Travel Time – Approx. 45 Min / 35 kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to the airport for the departure flight.
